About the Role

People with a disability who receive support from the Allevia One Village services want to increase their capacity to participate in social, economic and community life. They get this support through personalised support arrangements which range from 1:1 support in their home, individual and group support in the community, or through attending group programs at our Elevate Centre.

We are currently looking for a highly creative and experienced person to join our team in the position of Relief Team Leader – guiding and supporting the frontline support team in their various roles. The relief is for 6 months commencing in November, 2020.

  • Highly creative;
  • Committed and skilled in the implementation of Person Centred Active Support;
  • Familiar with the requirements of a registered NDIS provider and its associated systems and processes;
  • Proven talent in the design of interesting and enjoyable skill development and recreational Programs of Support for a variety of age groups and capabilities;
  • A leader and role model who can inspire and build the capability of teams;
  • Skilled at communicating and negotiating with people and their informal and other formal support providers;
  • Available to assist with after-hours on call duties on a roster;
  • Computer literate and able to maximize online resources for use in the design and implementation of activities and communication aids;

Salary: Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award, Level 4 with salary sacrifice options available.
