One Village (Social and Community Participation)

Have you got funding for personal care and assistance in daily living in your NDIS Plan?

Do you want someone to help you with:

  • Caring for yourself?
  • Shopping therapy?
  • Making great meals?
  • Company and support whilst others are busy?
  • Going to the doctor and following their instructions?
  • Getting active and healthy?
  • Getting from one place to another?

If the answer is "yes" to any of these, then you can ask us to support you to do the things that you need to do each day.

"I wanted to live on my own, but the housework just gets too much. My Support Workers from Allevia come when I need them and help me with keeping my unit clean and tidy, get meals organised, do some shopping, and get me organised to go out for my hectic social schedule." (Jess)

"Being a single mum and having a son with Down Syndrome means I have very little time to do everything there is to do every day. Having an Allevia Support Worker come to the house and get my son out of bed and off to school each day means I can give my other two children the attention they need." (Josepha)
