The NDIS call behaviour support 'Improving Relationships'.

Kelvin didn't want to live with others, but he just couldn't find a way to tell others what he wanted. So he decided to be very threatening to everyone he was living with so they would move out or so he would be moved from the group he was living with.

Allevia staff quickly worked out what was behind Kelvin's behaviour and with support he was able to tell people what he wanted. The NDIS gave Kelvin funds to buy support from a Behaviour Support Practitioner. He choose Allevia and now with their support he has a very personal plan which he shows to everyone who supports him - a guide to make sure they enjoy a great relationship with Kelvin everyday.

Great relationships with others really do help in rising above life's daily challenges. Send Allevia a request so they can support you to be the best person you can.
